Welina! The Weddings of A.L.O.H.A. ceremony is a wonderful and beautiful way for any wedding couple to express their love for each other. It
is truly a sincere and heartfelt experience that exemplifies the
feeling of Aloha through appreciation for the wholeness of life’s
journey.
The ceremony is shared with elements of Hawaiian culture that include: oli (Hawaiian chant), the blowing of the conch shell (pu), an offering of kava (`awa), and the use of salt (pa`akai). Water, an essential life-giving force, is a featured natural element in the ceremony with the cracking of the coconut (niu) and/or the metaphoric act of hand-washing.
A Ring Blessing Ceremony can be incorporated into the wedding ceremony; however, it is usually held during the wedding rehearsal (if a rehearsal is held). The Ring Blessing Ceremony is a touching experience during an often busy time for all included in the wedding party.
